THE MYSTERY OF IRMA VEP - West Coast Players

West Coast Players will hold auditions for The Mystery of Irma Vep by Charles Ludlam, Sunday, June 5 and Monday June 6 , 2016 at 7 pm.

Director Matthew Michael Schiel is seeking 2 male actors, ages 35-50, to play multiple roles (including females). English Accents required.

Auditions will include cold readings from the script. No performers paid.

Production dates are August 12 – 28, 2016.

Play Synopsis: A definitive spoof of Gothic melodrama, the Mystery of Irma Vep, is a quick change marathon in which two actors play all the roles. A sympathetic werewolf, a vampire, and an Egyptian princess brought to life when her tomb is opened make this a comedy that has everything.

Actor One – Lady Enid Hillcrest, Nicodemus Underwood, Alcazar
Actor Two – Jane Twisden, Lord Edgar Hillcrest, An Intruder
