Director Britny Anderson has announced that auditions for the L/A Community Little Theatre (L/A CLT) production of The Little Prince will be held Sunday, March 2, 2025 and Monday, March 3, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. Based on the novella by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince tells the story of a world-weary and disenchanted Aviator whose sputtering plane strands him in the Sahara Desert and a mysterious, regal “little man” who appears and asks him to “Please, sir, draw me a sheep.” This classic children’s fable has been translated into over 600 languages and dialects since its original release, making it the most translated piece of fiction. Anyone who wishes to audition is asked to bring a list of all possible schedule conflicts, and be prepared to partake in cold reads and a dance portion. Audition details and character descriptions can be found online at
laclt.com/auditions. Auditions will be held at the theater at 30 Academy Street in Auburn. The performance dates for The Little Prince are May 9th, 10th, 15th, 16th, and 17th 2025 at 7:30 pm, and May 11th, and 18th at 2:00pm.
