West Coast Players will hold auditions for Last Round-up of the Guacamole Queens by Jones Hope Wooten on Sunday April 24 and Monday April 25, 2016 at 7 pm.
Director Ashlie Johnson will be casting 5 females (50s-80s) and 3 males (40s) for this final comedy in the Verdeen cousins’ Texas Trilogy.
Auditions will be cold readings from the script. No performers paid.
Production dates are June 3 – 19, 2016.
A gut-busting Jones Hope Wooten farce, and a stand-alone play in its own right, Last Round-Up of the Guacamole Queens is the third and final comedy in the Verdeen cousins Texas Trilogy that begins with The Red Velvet Cake War and continues with Rex’s Exes.

Dixie Davenport – female (50s), local televangelist, nemesis to Jimmie Wyvette (can be doubled with Tanzie)
Ennis Crowder Puckett – female (80s), love interest to Uncle Aubrey
Della Crowder – female (80s), love interest to Uncle Aubrey
Grover Lout – male (40s), local sheriff
Dewey Davenport – male (40s), classmate to Peaches, back for the reunion
Reynerd Chisum – male (40s), local fool with a philosopher’s wisdom
Tanzie Lockhart – female (50s), aide to the Governor of Texas (can be doubled with Dixie)
The roles of Jimmie Wyvette Verdeen, Peaches Verdeen Belrose, Gaynette Verdeen, LaMerle Verdeen Minshew, and Aubrey Verdeen have already been cast from previous productions performed at West Coast Players in this Texas Trilogy.
