ABOUT IRON CROW THEATRE
Iron Crow Theatre, one of Baltimore’s most ambitious theatre companies, is an award-winning, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization and Baltimore’s queer theatre, having just received Best Breakout Theatre from Baltimore Magazine in 2017. Iron Crow Theatre aims to become Baltimore's next Equity theatre and produces queer theatre for a queer city; celebrating the renegade and the unorthodox in all of us. Here you’ll be challenged to do some of your best work, in a safe and professional environment, and inspired to achieve more than you ever thought possible. Overall, you’ll be proud. Because however you get involved here, you’ll be part of something big. Join us as we look to make history. Auditions will be held by appointment. Please be prepared to present a memorized monologue from a published piece of theatre and/or a musical theatre selection of your choice that best shows off your range and ability. Both selections (in any order and/or cut) should not exceed three minutes in length. You may be asked to read/sing from your book and/or the script/score of the production you are auditioning for.
AUDITION DATES, TIMES, LOCATIONS
All actors who are interested in auditioning should register for an audition appointment at www.ironcrowtheatre.org/audition
In most cases, you must be available for callbacks in order to be considered for final casting. Callback information detailing what material to review will be sent via email as soon after auditions as is possible. Please note that callbacks are scheduled to take place immediately following both audition dates. It is our recommendation that you familiarize yourself with each piece in the season prior to the auditions and callbacks.
