All roles are open and casting is open to all ages, races, ethnicities, and genders. Looking for 3 actors who will parodically perform multiple characters from famous Shakespeare plays like Romeo and Juliet, Titus Andronicus, Othello, Julius Cesar, Macbeth and of course….Hamlet. The pace is very fast, with actors running around; dying; falling; fighting, then recovering fast; changing characters and costume pieces; swapping props; etc. The fourth wall is non-existent, with the cast regularly speaking directly to - and interacting with - the audience. Due to the rapid-fire nature of the show with the possibility of improvisation and ad-libbing, we’re seeking 3 performers who can form a close-knit group and play off of each other.

Play Synopsis:
Egad and forsooth! Take three wild’n’crazy actors plus Shakespeare’s 37 plays, cram ‘em all into 97 minutes, and you’ll learn more about The Bard (through songs, raps, interpretative dancing and even a cooking show!) than you ever did while you were asleep in English class.
Production Dates:
Feb. 17 - Mar. 12, 2023
Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m.; Sundays at 2 p.m
Special Performances - Saturday matinee March 4 at 2 p.m.; Thursday evening March 9 at 8 p.m.
Rehearsal Dates:
Rehearsal to start late November and will be 3-4 times per week.
COVID Precautions:
AUDITION REQUIREMENT: Proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test from within 72 hours of audition must be presented at check-in with ID.
CASTING REQUIREMENT: All actors will be required to provide proof of vaccination to participate in a production. Due to the intimate nature of our shows and venue, we are not able to accept any exceptions at this time.
