?Casting Notice: Trusty Sidekick Theater Company Trusty Sidekick seeks actor for the role of Mom/Chloe in upcoming NYC premiere of The Boy at the Edge of Everything by Finegan Kruckemeyer. The Boy at the Edge of Everything will have a reading as part of the Lincoln Center Education Summer Forum on July 16, 2015 with a possible NYC premiere at Lincoln Center in March, 2016 Mom/Chloe: Non­Equity Submissions Only Female Age Range: Plays 12­40 Mom: Simon Ives’ Mother; Comedic Chloe: A classmate of Simon’s; A bit of a tomboy *In addition to playing the roles of Mom and Chloe, this actor will be a member of the ensemble, stepping into characters and physical storytelling roles throughout the show. The Boy at the Edge of Everything: In the middle of his over­scheduled 12­year­old life, Simon Ives dreams of a place where he can just stop and think. Meanwhile, at the farthest point of the universe, The Boy at the Edge of Everything lives by himself, lonely and bored. When Simon is rocketed into space (through an unlikely series of events involving “lots and lots of fireworks”), their worlds collide and neither will ever be the same. Follow Simon on an epic adventure through space and time in this quirky and charming play. Trusty Sidekick Theater Company: Trusty Sidekick Theater Company is an ensemble driven company. Ensemble members play an instrumental role in shaping each of our shows and our actors often collaborate with designers, musicians, puppeteers, etc in the rehearsal room to discover the best story­telling technique for a given moment. To that end, we are interested in seeing a diverse group of artists for this audition. Actors of all races, ethnicities, and ages (18+) are highly encouraged to submit. Actors with experience in physical theatre and puppetry encouraged to submit.
