Casting actors for The Beautiful Machine, an original Sci-Fi Rock musical debuting in the SD Fringe Festival this summer.
Principal Characters:
-Ben Phoenix - Bari/Tenor, can read as 19, male, protagonist. Love-struck and very intelligent. Ben could change the world but is too wrapped up in his own emotions to realize it.
-Clarity Providence - Soprano. Early 30’s, intelligent, headstrong, female. Clarity is the President’s sister. Vocal and passionate, she fights for the oppressed. She’s not afraid to stand up for what she believes in.
-Roman Valice - Baritone, 40s-60s, male, villain. The head of the military, Valice believes that society runs on organization and order. He’s confident, sarcastic and sexist, law is his mantra.
-Xandelle Jackson - Mezzo. Mid 30’s, female, charismatic, sassy, impulsive. Leads the Freechildren rebel group and runs the black market at the edge of the city.

Auditions will be held on Sunday May 7th from 11:30-7:30, please come prepared with a Rock/Pop song and sheet music or a track to sing over.
