REHEARSALS: begin on Tuesday May 31 and run Mon-Thurs 7-10 PM (children may dismissed earlier) Exact schedule will depend on role and actors' availability. Rehearsals will take place at the Rivers Room in Holiday Inn Express 10771 International Dr Orlando Fl
PERFORMANCES: July 29th-August 7th (6 performances over two weekends) at The Mandell Studio Theater at Orlando Shakes 812 E Rollins St Orlando Fl.

For auditions please prepare 32 bars of a song in the style of the show. Please bring sheet music in the correct key, an accompanist will be provided. You are welcome to sing from the score and you may choose to sing a cappella if you prefer.
THIS IS A NON PAYING Community Theater Production but tips will be collected and divided amongst the actors at performances

GOMEZ ADDAMS: A man of Spanish descent who takes great pride in his family and revels in all it means to be an “Addams.”He struggles with having to keep his daughters secret from his wife, whom he adores more than death. Comedic actor with tenor vocals with movement ability
MORTICIA ADDAMS: The strength of the family. An easy comedic actress with a sexy, dry wit. Feels her husband is hiding something from her and will use any tactic to lure the secret out. A strong dancer/mover with mezzo soprano vocals
WEDNESDAY ADDAMS: To PLAY 18 years old. She is a young woman who has the same dry wit and sensibility of her mother. Finds love with a “normal” boy (Lucas) and wants to introduce his family to hers. Experiences the youthful drama that comes with first love. Lucas can actually puts a smile on her face. Strong comedic actress with pop belt vocals.
UNCLE FESTER: The androgynous family member who serves as the musicals narrator. He is larger than life, an energetic, joyous, child-like presence. A vaudeville style comedian with tenor vocals.
PUGSLEY ADDAMS: Young performer of ANY gender to play 12 years old. A charming, funny, boy who loves being tortured by his sister. He wants to ensure he won’t lose his sister to her new boyfriend so he takes matters into his own hands. Strong, high vocals.
GRANDMA: She is a feisty 102 year old woman. Fun and quirky, but don’t mess with Grandma. Comedic actress with strong character vocals.
LURCH: A man of few words, Lurch is the Addams Family butler. His unmistakable commanding presence is accented by grunts, moans and deliberate movement. Must have great non-verbal story-telling abilities (think: facial expressions and sound). Lurch has a rich bass voice.
LUCAS BEINEKE: To PLAY 19 years old. Fell in love with Wednesday Addams and plans to marry her. Experiences the youthful pain and drama of young love and struggles with the differences between his family and the Addams family. Contemporary pop tenor vocals.
MAL BEINEKE: Stuffy father of Lucas and exasperated husband to his rhyming wife, Alice. At one time was a follower of The Grateful Dead but has lost that side of himself. Always looking out for his family. Male actor with high baritone/ tenor vocals.
ADULT ANCESTORS: All genders ages 15-65+ . Must sing and move well and have great comedic timing and a quirky sensibility.
YOUNG ANCESTORS: All genders ages 7-15. Must sing and move well and have great comedic timing and a quirky sensibility.
