TOTEM POLE PLAYHOUSE SEEKS LOCAL ACTORS FOR 2018 SEASON
Totem Pole Playhouse, Pennsylvania’s premiere summer theatre, will hold local auditions for the upcoming summer season this Saturday, April 7, 2018 noon to 2pm at Gettysburg’s Majestic Theater.
Totem Pole Playhouse, Pennsylvania’s premiere summer theatre, located in Caledonia State Park between Gettysburg and Chambersburg, PA, will hold local auditions for their upcoming 2018 season on Saturday, April 7th from 12 noon to 2 p.m. in the rehearsal hall of Gettysburg College’s Majestic Theater, 25 Carlisle St., Gettysburg, PA 17325.
Totem Pole is seeking both union and non-union performers between the ages of 20 and 50 years of age for ensemble and supporting roles for their upcoming summer productions of Andrew Lloyd Weber and Tim Rice’s musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and the ABBA smash hit musical, Mamma Mia! Those interested in auditioning should be prepared to sing 16 bars of a song that demonstrates their vocal range and abilities; an accompanist will be provided. Totem Pole’s Producing Artistic Director, Rowan Joseph, will conduct the auditions.
Those who are cast will be paid a small stipend for performances and Equity Membership Candidate (EMC) points are available under Totem Pole Playhouse’s agreement with Actors Equity Association, the professional actors’ union.
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat rehearsals begin May 8th and the show runs thru June 10th. Mamma Mia! rehearsals begin July 10th and the show runs thru August 19th.
