AUDITIONS: “TORCH SONG” BY HARVEY FIERSTEIN
Drama Works Theatre Company (Old Saybrook, Ct.) seeks non-Equity actors to laugh, cry, and sing a song of resilience in Harvey Fierstein’s Tony Award-winning play “Torch Song.”
For Arnold Beckoff, navigating the minefield of living as a proud gay man in the 70s isn’t a walk in Central Park. But even though the challenges of being a lover, a son, and a mother keep dragging him down, he just can’t walk in flats.
Auditions: Saturday, October 5, 12:00–3:00pm; Sunday, October 6, 12:00–3:00pm
Performances: Jan. 31, Feb. 1-2; Feb. 7-9; Friday/Saturday at 7:30pm; Sunday at 3:00pm
