CINCINNATI PLAYHOUSE IN THE PARK TO AUDITION CHILDREN
DEC. 10 FOR TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD
The Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park will hold auditions on Thursday, Dec. 10, for children’s roles in TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD. Three area children will be cast for the roles of Scout, Jem and Dill. The roles of Jem and Dill are available for boys ages 10 to 13. The role of Scout is available for girls 10 to 15 years old.
Children should email a resume of any experience to the Playhouse, along with a photograph (a good quality school or family photo is acceptable). The resume and photo must be emailed again even if they have been sent in the past. The resume must include exact birth date and height, as well as an email address and telephone number. At the audition, children will be asked to share a one-minute monologue, story or poem. Cold readings also will be available.
Interested children must be available for all rehearsals of this production, most of which are scheduled around school hours. Children must also be available for all performances of the show, which are scheduled Tuesdays through Sundays and include some weekday student and public matinees. TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD will be performed in the Playhouse’s Robert S. Marx Theatre March 5 through April 3, 2016. For further information, visit the Playhouse website at
