ATTENTION all actors, musicians! Theatre-Hikes is holding auditions for our productions of The Complete History of America (abridged) andNightfall with Edgar Allan Poe. Seeking actors of all types,races and gender identities/ fluidities. 3 performers for Complete History. Please note that Nightfall... deals with themes of madness, body horror, and sensuality (no nudity). Actors with musical ability (especially strings and percussion) are strongly encouraged, but not required. Poe is a character in all stories, and will be played by multiple actors. 3 men/3 women needed for multiple roles and puppetry. Prepare 2 contemporary monologues if interested in both plays. A Contemporary comic monologue if interested in History. A piece (no more than 2 minutes) that shows your idea of primal (non-ironic, non-political) terror -- through speech, sound, movement, music, any combination thereof or something altogether different. Scare us.
