Cone Man Running Productions will be holding auditions for two roles for our upcoming September production.
‘The Winners’ by David L. Williams
Directed by Lindsay Boyd
Cassie and Kurt, a white couple in their late thirties, have won $337 million in the lottery and as their first big spending spree they hire Tiffany, a twenty-three year old Asian-American call girl, to spend the night with them. What starts as a sexual fantasy turns into something darker, though, when one member of the couple decides that what can really be bought with all this money isn't just sex but freedom. A freedom that could very well tear this family apart with changes that can't ever be taken back.
Casting:
Kurt: Suburban married white man in his late thirties.
Cassie: Suburban married white woman in her late thirties
Auditions:
Will be held on Wednesday, June 28th, 2017 from 7p.m. – 9p.m.
Auditions will consist of sides from the script. The director will have a combination of readings, so please plan to stay for the full time period.
Rehearsals will take place primarily on weekday nights and weekends.
Dates:
Performances will be at the Beacon Theatre (5102 Navigation Blvd, Houston, TX, 77011). All evening shows at 8:00 p.m.
