In America's earliest years, treason was thought to be the king of crimes, the most dangerous and villainous of criminal acts. This play ensnares audiences in the scandal of the infamous Aaron Burr treason trial, telling the tale of Burr's treachery through the stories of the men and women around him who bore witness to his cunning and political ambition.
