The Invention of Edison
Book, music & lyrics by John Gregor
Riding the success of his newly perfect, long lasting incandescent light bulb, Thomas Edison promises to light an entire neighborhood of Manhattan to prove the commercial viability of his product. He faces many challenges, ranging from raising financial support to inventing new machinery, on his journey to hold true to his word.
The Invention of Edison will be directed by Justin Fortunato; choreographed by Kiesha Lalama; and music directed by Bob Neumeyer. Performers must be available during the day Monday – Friday from January through May. Rehearsals begin January 2, 2014. Both rehearsals and performances are in the daytime.
