HOUSTON SYMPHONY CHORUS AUDITIONS JANUARY 11, 2014
The Houston Symphony Chorus will be holding auditions for full membership on Saturday, January 11, 2014.
WHO: The Houston Symphony Chorus. This is an adult group of experienced choral singers who perform with the Houston Symphony.
WHAT: Chorus Auditions for the 2013-14 season, openings in all sections. Chorus concerts this season include Beethoven Mass in C, 100 Years of Broadway, and Mahler Symphony No. 8.
WHEN: Saturday, January 11, 2014.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Auditions are approximately 10 minutes long and consist of vocalization, tonal memory, sight-singing and a prepared piece of the singer’s choosing. An accompanist is provided. The group rehearsesTuesday evenings at the University of Houston’s Moores School of Music.
