The Grapes of Wrath (by Frank Galati, based on the novel by John Steinbeck)
is a co-production with Annapolis Shakespeare Company and the Performing and
Visual Arts magnet program at Annapolis High School to be performed in the
new, 250-seat Studio 39.
Annapolis Shakespeare Company is casting four professional actors in the
role of Ma, Pa, Grandma and Grandpa. Actors will rehearse with ASC's
director, Sally Boyett, and production stage manager, Sara K. Smith, for
limited rehearsals over two weeks prior to joining the PVA students for the
final 7 rehearsals, 2 tech rehearsals and 4 shows.
Auditions will be held on Sunday, October 12 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at the ASC
studios at 111 Chinquapin Round Road in Annapolis.
The schedule is as follows:
REHEARSALS at ASC (4 principals only): 11/9 (read-through/dialect work),
11/16 , 11/17, 11/18, 11/19, 11/20 (6pm-11pm)
REHEARSALS with FULL COMPANY: 12/1, 12/3, 12/8, 12/10, 12/15, 12/17, 12/22
(2:30pm-4:45pm)
TECH/DRESS: 1/5, 1/7 (2:30-8:30 p.m.)
SHOWS: 1/8, 1/9, 1/10
POST PERFORMANCE DISCUSSION: 1/12 (2:30pm-4:45pm)

Actors of all ethnicities will be considered for ALL roles. Please be
