The Coterie and Unicorn Theatre Combine for
Virtual Adult Auditions for Their 2020-2021 Seasons

The Coterie Theatre and Unicorn Theatre will hold combined auditions for professional adult actors (18 years of age and older) - Equity and non-Equity - for their respective 2020-2021 seasons.
WHEN: - May 4, May 6 – Reserved for Equity appointments made by phone April 8-10.
- May 4, May 6 – Actors with credits at The Coterie OR Unicorn (but not both) OR another Equity theater
- April 27, May 1 – Actors with no credits at The Coterie, the Unicorn, or another Equity theater
Auditions are by appointment only.

Equity actors may schedule an audition for May 4 or May 6, by calling 816-474-4241, April 8-10, 10:00am-4:00pm (CDT). All other dates to be scheduled online. Starting Monday, April 13, 10:00am (CDT), professional actors may schedule an individual time slot online at
www.thecoterie.org/auditions or
unicorntheatre.org/auditions.
OTHER:
Actors will be asked to perform two contrasting contemporary monologues (no Shakespeare), two minutes each; no classical material. Singing auditions will occur only if you are called back. Actors must submit two head shots and two resumes.
The Coterie’s 2020-2021 season is to be determined due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Roles to be cast will be both AEA and non-AEA.
The Unicorn’s 2020-2021 season includes: - Toni Stone

- Dance Nation
- Refuge
- TBD
- The Inheritance Part I & II
Roles for AEA in all shows and some non-AEA roles available.
There will be no alternate audition times.
