Richard Hannay: Mid 30s/early 40s Male. An attractive, world-traveled and world-weary Englishman in the manner of Ronald Coleman/Robert Donat. An everyman caught up, by circumstance, in mystery, murder and espionage.
Annabella Schmidt/Margaret/Pamela: Mid 20s/mid 30s Female. Will portray a mysterious and seductive European spy, a simple Scottish farmer's wife and a plucky, resourceful and intrepid young English woman.
Clowns 1 and 2: Two versatile actors capable of playing a variety of specific roles with a variety of British accents, all grounded in reality and honesty. They are not clowns in the circus sense, but in the style of the English Music Hall/Vaudeville quick change acts, with split-second timing and inventiveness.
