IF YOU CANNOT ATTEND THE JUNE 7 AUDITION,
BUT WOULD LIKE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR A JUNE 8 CALLBACK,
PLEASE FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS:


For Tarzan SINGERS: Submit a video to BCT@BayouCityTheatrics.com including a performance of at least one verse and chorus of a pop/rock song. Attach a headshot and resume.

For Tarzan DANCERS: Submit a resume to BCT@BayouCityTheatrics.com with all previous dance experience clearly defined. Also attach a current headshot.

For Gatsby ACTORS: Submit a video to BCT@BayouCityTheatrics.com including a performance of a one-minute, dramatic monologue. Attach a headshot and resume.

For Chicago ACTORS, SINGERS and DANCERS: Submit a video to BCT@BayouCityTheatrics.com including a performance of at least one verse and chorus of a standard Broadway song in the style of Kander and Ebb. Attach a headshot and resume.

WHO: Dancers between the ages of 13 and 50 (Tumbling/Acrobatic skills a plus), Singers between the ages of 13 and 50 and Actors between the ages of 18 and 50. (see breakdown)

WHEN: Saturday, June 7, 2014

Dancers- 10:00 AM

Actors/Singers- 1:00 PM

WHERE: The Kaleidoscope, 705 Main St., Suite B, 77002

WHAT TO PREPARE:

Actors: Prepare to cold read from provided sides.

Dancers: Extensive dance call. Bring sneakers, jazz sneakers or standard jazz shoes. No heels or character shoes.

Singers: Prepare one verse and chorus of a pop/rock or pop-Broadway song. Accompanist will be provided. Songs from TARZAN will be accepted.

Performers may attend any/all of the three calls.

CALLBACKS: Sunday, June 8, 2014 -- TIME TBA

REHEARSALS: Rehearsals from June 16 to July 4. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, July 7 to July 11 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

PERFORMANCES: 2-hr. Commitment (per performance) beginning July 12. Wednesdays - 10:00 a.m. Curtain Fridays- 10:00 a.m. Curtain and Saturdays- 2:00 p.m. Curtain. Run open-ended. Additional evening performances are being optioned, Actors will be notified 2 weeks (14 days) in advance.

Dancer/Singers: Extensive “Fosse” Dance Call. Females: Tights, Leotard (or Moveable Form-Fitting Clothing), Hair Up and Character Heels. Males: Moveable, Form-Fitting Clothing and Jazz or Character Shoes.

Also prepare a verse and chorus of a standard Broadway song, preferably in the style of Kander and Ebb. Songs from CHICAGO will be accepted.

Also prepare to cold-read from provided sides.
