Actors will be paid a stipend of $120.
Where: MLK Library in Chinatown, Washington, DC
When: April 26th, 2-5 pm
Sides from the show will be provided. There is no need to prepare a monologue.

Otherwise, audition slots will be handed to walk-ins on a first come first serve basis. If you reserve a spot, we will send you the sides before your audition.
Show Information: We will perform at The Gearbox (1021 7th Street NW, 3rd Floor) on July 10th, 13th, 17th, 19th, and 25th. Our tech day is the 10th.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN:
Cathryn – F – 19 – A self-destructive, intelligent aspiring poet, Cathryn – who prefers Cat – is brash, abrasive, sharp, and quick with an uncanny ability to penetrate personal barriers.
Patrick Vacus – M – mid 20s – A mysterious and charming outsider with a boiling, violent inner life. He is a man who values the sanctity of family above all else.
Bea – F – 18 – A bright and optimistic teenager, excited to begin her life as an adult. She is warm, genuinely kind, and faithful.
Mama – F – late 30s – A mother who does her best and would do anything to give her daughters the life she couldn't have.
Daddy – M – early 40s – An imposing presence in his household, Daddy is a blue collar, good 'ol boy who has immense difficulty understanding his eldest daughter.
