Summer Theatre Intensive Week 1
This week long musical theatre intensive is for the aspiring triple threat ages 6-18; training in singing, acting and dancing. The perfect way to level up your performance skills while learning and performing material you love.
About This Program:
The goal of the summer musical theatre intensive is to teach you how to sing and perform songs from select broadway shows. We will sharpen skills and lay the foundation in singing, acting, and dancing technique. You will develop strength in the areas needed to become a musical theatre triple threat. By the end of this week, you should be confident in your ability to learn a song and dance combination, and feel more confident about performing it. This program is ideal for performers of all experience levels and for those who are seeking to take their singing/acting/performing to the next level.
Program Format Description:
Intensives are perfect for students who are looking to brush up on a few new skills over the course of a 5-day workshop. Each Intensive workshop can be done singularly or consecutively. We recommend doing all weeks if possible as the courses are designed to be buildable. Each week is focused on a particular subject matter/ theme. What is often taught over the course of many months is curated into a single week/ month to maximize your growth and development. Workshops have a limited capacity to ensure that each student is given the special attention they need to excel. This intensive will be hosted by Ripley Grier Studios at 520 8th Avenue.
What You Will Need for Class:
For this musical theatre intensive, you will need comfortable clothes, dance shoes if applicable, or sneakers, water bottle, lunch/snacks, a binder, access to email at home. Vocal assessments are strongly encouraged. Positive attitude is also required.

A calendar link will be included so that you may schedule your one on one assessment. Additionally, we request that you record yourself singing one song that we send you and one song of your choosing.
