Stirring the Waters Across America is a touring concert production that illuminates the Civil Rights Movement for new audiences. NEWorks Productions is seeking thirteen (13) performers who can act, sing and dance—4 sopranos, 3 altos, 3 tenor,s and 3 bass-baritones—for a workshop presentation. Auditions are open to Non-Equity performers of all ethnicities.
Auditionees should be prepared to sing 16 bars of one selection (chosen from the Broadway, classical, pop or inspirational genres). Auditionees should also submit in advance a video performance of one of two sides. Auditions will be held at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, 2700 F Street, NW, Washington, D.C.
