Pay Rate: $17.00/hour
Basic Job Functions
?Enthusiastically represents SeaWorld by displaying a positive attitude, high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job.
?Dance in SeaWorld shows as assigned.
Principle Duties
?Attends rehearsals and absorbs choreography at the appropriate rate.
?Executes pre and post show duties as outlined in the daily schedule.
?Uses other skills such as acting and improvisation to enhance the choreography and performance as directed.
?Openly accepts performance feedback and adapts accordingly.
?Assists with trainings, choreography, blocking, and stage direction as needed.
?Consistently and expertly executes stage direction and show content as directed by leadership.
?Meets provided performance measurements and show quality standards.
?Maintains cleanliness of all assigned work areas.
?Positively interacts with guests, employees, and others.
?Models company trainings related to guest interactions and animal areas.
?Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Knowledge
?Must be at least 18 years of age.
?Must be able to positively interact with park guests and team members of all ages, different ethnic/cultural backgrounds and/or language, and individuals with special needs.
?Must have strong verbal communication skills.
?Must have strong dance and performance background.
?Must have the ability to absorb and execute choreography.
?Must be able to stand, sit and/or walk for prolonged periods of time.
?Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
?Audition requirements will include various styles of dance and movement.
?Dancers should have a well rounded background in jazz and ballet.
?Dancers should also be well-versed in musical theatre style dance, hip-hop and contemporary.
?Tumbling and gymnastic ability is preferred.
Required Training & Education
?Technically proficient in jazz, musical theatre/Broadway, and/or ballet.
?Strong in jazz technique and musical theatre.
strong comedic timing, not afraid to get wet.
?Please be prepared to learn a challenging dance combination.
?Headshot and resume required.
