Basic Job Functions
?Enthusiastically represents SeaWorld by displaying a positive attitude, high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job.
?Cast and performs in SeaWorld shows as assigned.
Principle Duties
?Executes pre and post show duties as outlined in the daily schedule.
?Openly accepts performance feedback and adapts accordingly.
?Assists with trainings, choreography, blocking, and stage direction as needed.
?Consistently and expertly executes stage direction and show content as directed by leadership.
?Meets provided performance measurements and show quality standards.
?Maintains cleanliness of all assigned work areas.
?Models company trainings related to guest interactions and animal areas.
?Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
Knowledge
?Must be at least 18 years of age.
?Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
?Must have strong verbal communication skills.
?Must be able to stand, sit and/or walk for prolonged periods of time.
?Must be able to meet work group’s availability.
?Must be able to positively interact with park guests and team members of all ages, different ethnic/cultural backgrounds and/or language, and individuals with special needs.
?Audition requirements may also include dance, movement, script reading and memorization, role playing, comedic improvisation, miming, singing and instrumental music as necessary.
Required Training
Education
?Previous experience in the field of dance, theater, athletics or other performance arts required.
?Headshot and resume required.
?Prior experience as a "host" using a microphone and addressing a large crowd is preferred.
?Singing/Vocal-Rap ability preferred.
?Physically and vocally energetic, with a strong, commanding timbre to voice.
?Must have strong music/rhythmic/dance timing.
?Age range portrayed: 25-35 years.
?Be prepared to cold read from a provided script.
?May be asked to perform character improv, read from a provided script and perform a simple dance combination.
