Single Carrot Theatre Announces Open Call Auditions
Single Carrot is casting roles for our upcoming productions of R. Eric Thomas’ Safe Space and Miranda Hall’s Bulgaria! Revolt! Casting breakdowns below.
Auditions:
Monday, October 14, 5-8pm
Tuesday, October 15, 5-8pm
Auditionees may sign up for a 5 minute slot. Interested parties should email Ben Kleymeyer for an audition slot at jobs@singlecarrot.com. Please indicate your availability for all of the audition dates.
Please bring a headshot, resume, 2 contrasting contemporary monologues, and an optional 16 bars of a song (no piano or accompanist will be provided) to the audition. Monologues should be no longer than 1 minute each.

Casting Breakdown:
Courtney- 20s, a black gay man.
Bill- 30s, a black gay man
Helen- 30-40s, a white woman
Nadeen- 20s, a woman of color (Asian, Latina, Middle Eastern, and Native especially encouraged)

Tech: January 24-30, 2020
Performances: January 31- February 23, 2020
Bulgaria! Revolt!
Casting:
We are casting actor/singers to play multiple roles in this Brechtian Musical. Actors of all ethnicities, age, body types and genders are strongly encouraged to audition. Ability to play an instrument is a plus. 16+ only please.
Workshop: November 11-20, 2019
First Rehearsal: March 9, 2020
Tech: April 17-23, 2020
Performances: April 24- May 17, 2020
