SINGERS
We are seeking a cast – of all genders and ages – that reflects the cultural and ethnic diversity of Los Angeles. This includes – but is not limited to: African American, African, Asian, Caribbean, Indigenous, Latinx, Native American, and Pacific Islander.
Singers of diverse backgrounds and identities are encouraged to audition, including diverse musical backgrounds. For singing roles, we seek many different kinds of vocal styles: from trained operatic styles, to distinctive folk styles, to more theatrical singing. All roles are paid.

Material: Please come prepared with two contemporary songs – sung in English. Dramatic and stylistic contrast recommended.
There will be an accompanist in the room, please bring your accompaniment music with you. Speaker will be available for recorded accompaniment as well.
About the Production
The Industry's next ambitious world premiere opera Sweet Land re-imagines narratives surrounding the founding of America and westward expansion in order to make visible who and what is erased through the passage of time and white supremacy.
