Seeking the industry’s top dance talent for brand-new stage productions by Emmy Award-winning RWS Entertainment Group to be debuted aboard Holland America Line’s newest luxury ships, the ms Nieuw Statendam and ms Koningsdam.

RWS will be assembling several touring dance companies that will perform on many different ships throughout their contracted period. Each contract will be around 12-16 weeks in length.
Company members will enjoy “Guest Entertainer” status onboard, complete with private cabin and full access to the ship when not performing, free from any duties or previous restrictions related to a “Crew Member” status, creating the first-of-its-kind experience for dancers at sea.

Tour 2 - ms Koningsdam
Rehearsal: October 1 - November 17, 2018

Pay Rate: $1,000/week onboard. $600/week rehearsals. Travel and lodging provided.
Seeking:
MALE & FEMALE DANCERS: Must be 18 years or older. Any ethnicity. Toned, athletic physiques. Dynamic, elite dancers with great attention to detail who are technically trained in contemporary, ballet, modern, hip hop, and jazz styles. Must have a strong stage presence and be able to tell a story through dance with soloist performance quality. Must be able to partner and lift. Tap dance ability also a plus, but not required for all tracks.
Open Call for Dancers (Union/Non-Union) will be held Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 10am (Females) and 2pm (Males) at Pearl Studios, 500 8th Avenue (btwn 35th and 36th Sts), 4th Floor, NYC.
Callbacks will be held Thursday, May 17, 2018.
Preparation:
Be prepared to learn several dance combinations. Bring form-fitting dance attire (women bring character heels and flats), headshot and resume stapled together. If you tap, please bring tap shoes.
