BALTIMORE CENTER STAGE seeks two non-Equity dancers for our upcoming production of SOUL The Stax Musical by Matthew Benjamin, directed by Kwame Kwei-Armah and choreographed by Chase Brock.
Description: Two non-AEA, female-identifying dancers to join the ensemble. Must be versatile. A background in jazz, musical theatre and/or ballet is a plus. Dancers of all ethnicities are encouraged to apply.
Required Rehearsals will take place Tuesday, March 27, 2018 through Thursday, May 10, 2018.
Required Performances will take place Thursday, May 3, 2018 through Sunday, June 10, 2018. This includes preview performances during the rehearsal period.
Salary: $350.00/week
Please note that Baltimore Center Stage is not offering housing or transportation for this role.
Audition Dates: Auditions and callbacks will be held from 5pm to 8pm on Thursday, March 15, 2018.
Location: All auditions, callbacks, rehearsals and performances take place at Baltimore Center Stage: 700 N. Calvert St, Baltimore, MD 21202
Preparation:
Please come prepared to learn choreography and dance. Appropriate clothing and a water bottle are recommended.
Footwear: Please bring (1) a pair of sneakers and (2) a pair of heels of any type. You will be asked to dance in both.
