SISTER ACT
Based on the hit film of the same name, SISTER ACT tells the story of aspiring disco diva Deloris Van Cartier. As she tries to become a star in 1970s Philadelphia, Deloris falls in love with a gangster and when she witnesses him commit a murder, she is put in hiding by police in an unlikely place – a convent whose parish has fallen on hard times. Disguised as a nun, she finds herself at odds with both the rigid lifestyle and uptight Mother Superior. Though the sequin-free lifestyle doesn't agree with her, Deloris finds her calling using her unique disco moves and voice to inspire the choir. However, when the choir starts attracting press attention, and money starts pouring in by the public to renovate the old convent – it isn't longer before Deloris blows her cover! Soon, the gang is giving chase, only to find them up against Deloris and the power of her newly found sisterhood.
