S.A.T. - A MUSICAL is about a diverse group of high school kids, in a one day prep class for
the college entrance exam. During the class, the kids learn about taking the test, but also learn about themselves and each other. With a flexible cast, and 11 original songs, it hits on all the stereotypical archetypes, but with a few twists. It’s a little bit BREAKFAST CLUB, and a little bit SPELLING BEE, with a lot of fun, and a lot of heart.

ROSE MCDONALD [16-18, Female] Motherly type. Her own life tragedy has made her everyone’s guiding light. Vocal range: Alto with gospel belt G4 to Eb5
KEN PHELPS [16-18, Male] Quarterback, Homecoming King. A nice guy with no enemies, but carries a secret. Vocal range: Baritone with some pop feel. Low Bb to High F
DAVID VALENTINE [16-18, MALE] An over the top musical theatre student, trying to figure out his next step. Vocal range: Tenor with musical theatre belt. G3 up to High A
BRUCE WAIN [16-18, Male] The smartest kid in school. A bit of an outcast. He has no real friends, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t want them.Vocal range: High Baritone with rock vibe. Bb2 to High A with strong falsetto
HAYLEY CARPENTER [16-18, Female] Wanna be popular kid. Vocal range: Lighter pop voice - mezzo range.
