Greetings,
My name is Earl Melvin, and I would like to invite you to audition for my production of the Rocky Horror Picture Show to take place on October 31, 2014. This shadow cast production of the 1975 film will feature an African American cast and is guaranteed to raise eyebrows. The show will feature live musical performances, crowd engagement, and participation - placing audiences in the
horrific experience that is Dr Frank-N-Furter's Castle.
I have decided to bring the shadow cast tradition of this production into the light of the African American Community. Halloween is the ideal Day for the performance, not only because of its theme, but audiences are encouraged to dress as characters from the film and at times participate in the debauchery. Local
bloggers and magazines will be invited to attend as this is a groundbreaking performance. Should the vocals and performances of this stellar cast not be enough to wow audiences, the suggestive costumes and lyrics will make this Halloween night one to remember!
