WAUKESHA CIVIC THEATRE ANNOUNCES OPEN AUDITIONS FOR:
Perfect Wedding
By Robin Hawden
Open auditions for the Waukesha Civic Theatre’s production of Perfect Wedding have been changed from the previously released dates. They will be held:
No appointment is necessary. Auditions will be held at the Waukesha Civic Theatre Building at 264 West Main Street, Waukesha. Those auditioning should be prepared to read from the script. If you will not arrive at auditions until 8:30 or later, please contact the theatre so the director can be informed. If there is no one present to audition the production staff may choose to leave unless they know someone is planning to arrive late.
On the morning of his wedding, a hung-over man wakes up in the bridal suite next to a very attractive (and very naked) stranger. Before he can figure out what to do, his best man and his bride-to-be arrive to prepare for the wedding, and the poor, naked girl finds herself locked away in the bathroom. The best man is persuaded to claim the stranger as his new girlfriend, but he gets confused and introduces the chambermaid instead. Things get more confusing with the arrival of the bride’s mother and the best man’s real girlfriend in this comedy from Robin Hawdon.
All roles are open.
Two men ages 20s to 30s and four women ages 20s to 60s
