Local performers (singers, movers, dancers) to be a part of this momentous theatrical concert experience. These auditions are for children, teens and adult roles.

Oz in Concert: Classic and contemporary music inspired by everything related to the Emerald City. From Sara Bareilles to Elton John, From The Wiz to Wicked, from the classic movie to the Pentatonix—this concert’s got everything!



October and November weeknight evening rehearsals, primarily Tuesday and Thursdays, and rare weekends.



Mandatory rehearsal availability:

• Afternoon and evening of November 15 & 16

• Evenings of November 17-20

• December 7 (3, 7pm)

AUDITION DETAILS

SINGERS BY APPOINTMENT

Slots every 10 min. beginning at 1:30pm on 07/10/14

and 6pm on 07/11/14. Every 30-45 minutes, a mover

call-back will be held.



DANCERS

be scheduled into a group audition.



VIDEO AUDITIONS

There's nothing like meeting you in person, but if you

are unable to attend the audition, you are welcome to

send a video with your headshot and resume to PRiMA

at info@primatheatre.com. All videos must be submitted

before August 10.



SINGERS: WHAT TO BRING

• Sheet music (pianist is provided)

• Prepare 16 measures from two contrasting pieces

• Headshot/resume

• Proper clothing for movement

• Singing from concert material is welcomed

Lion! ! ! ! Owns the stage as a performer. Think The Wiz.! !

Tin Man! ! ! Tenor voice, decent at hip-hop dancing.

Wizard!! ! ! Think Wicked musical’s Wizard.

Glenda!! ! ! Pretty princess goes wild. Comedic timing.

Elphaba! ! ! Rock belter. Comedic timing. Mover.

The Poppies (3)! ! Supremes-like group. Movers/Dancers.

Children, Teen and Adult Roles

Lead Munchkins ! ! Adults with stand-out, comedic moments and vocal solos.

! ! Lion, scarecrow, tin man, toto and Dorothy do pop-n-lock/hip hop dancing

11. Ease on Down The Road / Off To See The Wizard / We’re Outta’ The Woods (Leading boys,

Dorothy, Poppies, Lead Munchkins or Flying Monkeys)

! ! Leads sing this mash-up, The Poppies (a Supremes-like group)
