Man: Plays multiple characters ranging from 10 years old to adult.
· Frank: 10-year-old boy. Friends with Oskar usually. Dramatic. He listens to opera. Likes math but is perhaps not good at it. Diligent with an active imagination and often imagines he’s a fire truck; constantly writing interesting stories in his head.
· Principal: good intentioned and “tweedy.”
· Menacing Kid: a figment of Mom’s imagination conjured by Mom.
Woman: Plays multiple characters ranging from 10 years old to adult.
· Beth: 10-year-old girl, physical and self-assured. She is friends with Oskar.
· Mom: Oskar’s good conscience takes the form of his mother. She is really inside his head.
