CYT-North Idaho is holding auditions for their third annual CCT (Chris show, where kids AND adults join together on stage to produce a musical great for all ages! For the second year, CYT will perform a summer show in addition to the 3 Broadway-style musicals they produce during the school year. CYT-North Idaho is a performing arts training program for children ages 6-18.
Nothing works on the stage like a well-crafted tale, and OLIVER! is just such a show. Based on the Dickens novel, it is engaging with passion and drama, while delighting everyone with its outstanding musical numbers. Food, Glorious Food, I'd Do Anything, Where is Love?, and Consider Yourself, are musical theatre classics. Dickens' characters are brought to life-perhaps larger than life-with in this, Tony award production. Oliver! will be at the Salvation Army Kroc Community Theater July 19-28.
Auditions are Jun 1 from 6-8 p.m. and Jun 2 from 6-8 p.m. Call backs will be at 8 on Jun 2. CYT, known for its large casts would like to cast a wide range of ages from 6 to 66! There are various principal roles for children and adults as well as large choruses of children, teens and adults. The location is the CYT Campus, 2775 Howard St., Suite 7, Coeur d'Alene, ID.
