Oklahoma!

Open auditions for the Waukesha Civic Theatre’s production of Oklahoma! will be held:
No appointment is necessary. Auditions will be held at the Waukesha Civic Theatre Building at 264 West Main Street, Waukesha. Those auditioning should prepare 32 bars of music and provide sheet music in their key for the accompanist. Unaccompanied auditions are discouraged. John Cramer is directing. Anne Van Deusen is music directing. Rehearsals will start in January.
This year marks the 70th anniversary of the first Rodgers and Hammerstein collaboration – featuring enduring favorites like "Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin’," "I Cain’t Say No," "Surrey with the Fringe on Top," and of course the title song. Set in the Oklahoma Territory in 1906, this is the story of Curly and Laurey, a handsome cowboy and a romantic farm girl. Through misunderstandings, jealousy, aspirations, and fears, love triumphs for Curly and Laurey in the brand new state of Oklahoma!
All roles are open.
There are roles for 5 or more boys age 7-19, 5 or more girls age 7-19,
10 men age 20-60, 10 women age 20-60, 2 men age 60+, and 2 women age 60+.
