SEEKING:
Nick - Male High Baritone (40-55) Possibly English but not necessarily. Could also be American. Can be grouchy but has a generous nature. Has lost faith in the goodness of humanity which Noel helps him rediscover.
Carnegie - Male Baritone (40+) Drama teacher. Very affected. Models himself on Laurence Olivier etc. Fancies himself the greatest actor of his generation. Good comic relief but he must also be able to play genuine pathos. He's Roger Debris meets Henry Higgins meets Corky Sinclair.
Duchess - Female Alto with high belt (30-45) An optimist despite her homelessness. Is a beacon for the other homeless people who love her. She must play wide range from comedy to deep emotion. Fabulous belt voice comfortable sitting on C's/D's. Maternal presence with deep vulnerability behind her humor.
