Auditions will be held at Ridgefield Guild of Artists, 34 Halpin Lane, Ridgefield, CT 06877 (across from Ridgefield Theater Barn which is undergoing construction).

Please note: This musical deals with strong adult themes. The creative team will be taking a trauma-informed approach to exploring these themes during the rehearsal process. They are looking for a cast willing and able to join this journey with respect, openness, and compassion.
Auditionees should prepare 32 bars of a song in the style of the show as well as be prepared to read from the script. While there are no audition slots, folks will be seen in the order in which they arrive. Those who cannot attend the auditions may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Diana
Mother and wife determined to make her family perfect while grappling with loss. Vivacious, resilient and quick-witted. Struggles with symptoms of depression and bipolar disorder. Vocal range: G3-F#5
Gabe
Diana & Dan’s son. Dashing, athletic, and bright. He is a playful young man and everything a mother could imagine. Versatile actor/singer who can capture a range between youth and adulthood. Vocal range: B2-C5
Dan
Diana’s partner. Loving, steadfast and genuine. Confronting delayed grief, while supporting Diana no matter the obstacles. Vocal range: Ab2-B4
Natalie
Diana & Dan’s child. Exploring their identity as their family unravels. An accomplished pianist and hardworking student, their resilience is tested by family and social pressures. They are greatly impacted by their mother’s struggles. Vocal range: G3-G5
Henry
Natalie’s classmate. Musician, philosopher, and slacker. Empathic and romantic. Vocal range: G#2-B4
Dr. Madden
Diana’s psychiatrist. Quite assured in their practice and considered somewhat of a rock star. Plays multiple doctors throughout Diana’s treatment. Vocal range: A2-A4
