Prime Stage is seeking actor for the following roles:
Adults: mid to late 30’s, 40’s or early 50’s
(Please prepare:a one minute contemporary dramatic monologue)
Dad – Male Identifying, Caitlin’s father
Mrs. Brook – Female Identifying, Caitlin’s School Counselor
Mrs. Johnson – Female Identifying, Caitlin’s 5th grade Teacher
Young Adults: age 10 to mid 20’s for the following roles:
(Please prepare: a one minute contemporary comedic monologue and a one minute contemporary dramatic monologue)
Caitlin – Female Identifying, A 5th grader on the autism spectrum
(We are looking for a performer with autism for this role)
Josh – Male Identifying, 5th grader, the school bully
Emma – Female Identifying, 5th grader, a leader
Brianna – Female Identifying, 5th grader, a trendsetter
Shane – Male Identifying, 5th grader, lots of energy
Jose – Male Identifying, 5th grader, a follower
Michael – Male Identifying, 1st grader, Caitlin’s friend
William H – Male Identifying, A young boy on the autism spectrum who is non-verbal
We encourage actors on the autism spectrum to audition for any of the roles. We will actively work with all performers to create a working environment where individual needs can be met in order to create successful performances. If any performer requires specific support for the audition process (ie: a social story, fidgets, scenes before hand, etc.), please reach out to Prime Stage Theatre so that we may do our best to accommodate.
