The Weston Friendly Society will be holding auditions for their Fall 2014 production of MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS on September 9 & 10 at 7:00 PM at the Weston Town Hall (11 Town House Road, Weston). Performances will be November 29 & 30, and December 6.
Please prepare 16-32 bars of a song in a style similar to the show (other Martin/Blane, Berlin, Gershwin, Porter, Kern, Etc.) An accompanist will be provided. You may be asked to stay and dance, so please dress appropriately (bring taps if you have them).
Callbacks will be September 11 at 7:00 PM at the Town Hall. Those attending Tuesday night's audition will be called during the day Wednesday if needed for callbacks. Auditioners Wednesday night will be asked in their audition to return the next day.
All roles are open. No appointments necessary.

Mr. Smith - lead, singer/actor, lawyer, father
Mrs. Smith - lead, singer/actress, loving mother
Lon Smith - lead, singer/actor, some dance, Princeton freshman
Rose Smith - lead, singer/actress, dance, chic daughter
Esther Smith - lead, strong singer, dancer, actress, lively personality (played by Judy Garland in film)
Agnes Smith - singer/actress, tomboy personality, approximately 12 years old
Tootie Smith - singer/actress, bright outspoken personality, approximately 7 years old
Grandpa - Mrs. Smith’s father, Civil War vet, kindly person
Katie - singer/actress, Irish cook, housemaid
John Truitt - singer/actor, athletic boy next door
Warren - Rose’s beau from a rich family
Also looking for a strong ensemble of singers and dancers of all ages. Supporting roles will be cast from the Ensemble.
