Mason Street Warehouse (MSW) is a professional Equity regional theatre serving the West Michigan community and its guests. Founded in 2001, MSW is putting up three shows this coming summer.

MSW recently concluded its New York City auditions and will next see actors in Chicago before coming back to Michigan. “We are thrilled about the talent we saw in New York,” said MSW’s Artistic Director Kurt Stamm. “We had more than 1,100 submissions in NYC for xx roles.”

Stamm said the exciting number of submissions speaks to Mason Street’s – and West Michigan’s — reputation among New York City’s professional actors. “We’ve built a strong reputation over the past decade as a terrific regional theatre in a really wonderful location. Broadway professionals are excited about the opportunity to perform in Mason Street Warehouse productions and spend part of their summer on the lakeshore.”

Stamm noted that via MSW internships, young actors from area universities have the opportunity to work side by side with and learn from professional actors throughout the summer season.

Mason Street Warehouse is also holding auditions at several Michigan-based universities as part of EncoreMichigan’s general unified auditions in Kalamazoo and in Chicago. Please visit
