Throughline Theatre Company announces auditions for their 2018 Season!
Throughline Theatre Company moves to Pittsburgh Playwrights for the 2018 season with theme of “Make ‘Em Laugh”
Auditions for Throughline Theatre Company’s 2018 Season will be held at the Pittsburgh Opera Headquarters (2425 Liberty Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15222) on March 18th, from 12:30-4:30 PM and 5:30-8 PM. Auditions will be in hourly blocks of appointments, but walk-ins are welcome. Please submit a request for an appointment by going to http://www.throughlinetheatre.org/work-with-us, and filling out the fields at the bottom of the page, with first and second preference for audition time. Please prepare a 1-2 minute monologue; if you do not have a monologue, material for a cold read will be provided for you. Please also bring with you a headshot and acting resume.
The 2018 season’s throughline is “Make ‘Em Laugh” Productions include: Picasso at the Lapin Agile by Steve Martin, directed by Daniel Freeman (production dates May 4th-12th), Ubu Roi by Alfred Jarry, directed by Shannon Knapp (production dates June 22nd-30th), and The Inspector General by Nikolas Gogol, directed by Connor McCanlus (production dates August 10th-18th). All productions will take place at Pittsburgh Playwrights, located in downtown Pittsburgh (3rd floor, 937 Liberty Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15222 – elevator and wheelchair-accessible).
