CDC Theatre is happy to announce auditions for our Hispanic Theatre Festival, our first production of the 2022-23 season!
THE PLAY: La Valentía is a story of two sisters: Trini and Guada, who have inherited the summer house of their childhood. It is a house they love, but this house has a little problem: a major highway now passes five yards from the front door. For Guida, the house is more important than the noise, and for Trini having quiet is more important than the house. While Guada has decided to live in the house, Trini, desperate, hires the Spectro Brothers, a pair of brothers who have made a business designed to scare people by convincing them their home is haunted by ghosts. At the same time, Guada needs money and she has rented a bedroom through AirBnB. Martin and Martina are her first renters, two strange siblings who happen to be real ghosts.
PERFORMANCE DATES: September 9-11, 2022; Friday and Saturday at 8pm, Sunday at 2pm.

MARTIN -- An ancestor of Guada and Trini
MARTINA -- An ancestor of Guada and Trini
AUDITIONS: Thursday, July 7th at 7pm and Saturday, July 9th at 1pm. Auditions will take place at the theatre: 78 Winans Ave., Cranford, NJ.
No need to prepare anything. We will have you read sides from the script. Non-Equity, No pay.
LA OBRA: La Valentía es una historia de dos hermanas: Trini y Guada, que han heredado la casa en la que pasaban los veranos de su infancia. Es una casa que aman, pero es una casa que tiene un pequeño problema: una autopista pasa a cinco metros de la puerta. Para Guada es más importante la casa que el ruido, y para Trini es más importante el silencio que la casa. Como Guada ha decidido quedarse a vivir en la casa, Trini, desesperada, contracta a los Hermanos Espectro, una pareja de hermanos que tiene una empresa que se dedica a dar sustos terribles para echar a la gente de los sitios haciéndose pasar por fantasmas. Por otro lado, Guada, que necesita dinero, ha puesto una de las habitaciones de la casa en AirBnB y llegan los primeros clientes: Martin y Martina, dos hermanos muy extraños que resultan ser fantasmas de verdad.
