The Theatre Group at SBCC announces auditions for the spring production, Ken Ludwig’s SHERWOOD: THE ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD, directed by Katie Laris.
Auditions will be held by appointment on Tuesday December 3, 2024 5:30-10:00pm in the Jurkowitz Theatre on SBCC’s West Campus. Call backs will be December 10 in the Garvin Theatre, rehearsals begin January 13, 2025 and performances are February 26-March 15, 2025 in the Garvin Theatre.
Roles available: 6 men, 2 women and 8 ensemble members who will play various roles.
SYNOPSIS: Packed with various forms of stage combat, romance, comedy and immortal characters such as Maid Marian, Friar Tuck and the Sheriff of Nottingham, Sherwood: The Adventures of Robin Hood tells the enduring story of a hero of the people who take on the ruthless powers that be. Ken Ludwig delivers a story of adventure, hilarious characters and non-stop action.
