WTG YOUTH THEATRE PRODUCTION BEGINS ON SEPTEMBER 8TH

From Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich, the creators who brought you Dear Edwina and Dear Edwina JR., comes Junie B. Jones The Musical JR. – a delightful adaptation of four of Barbara Park's best-selling books, brought to life in a delightful adaptation created specifically for Broadway Junior performers.
Join Junie B. on her first day of first grade, where many changes are in store: Junie's best friend Lucille has found new best friends -— and Junie B. makes friends with Herb, the new kid at school. While in Mr. Scary's class, Junie has trouble reading the blackboard — and she may need glasses. Add in a friendly cafeteria lady, an intense kickball tournament and a Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal, and first grade has never been more exciting.
Featuring many lovable characters and fun-filled songs, Junie B. Jones JR. will capture your audiences' and Broadway Junior performers' hearts — just as the books captivated an entire generation of students.
WHO: 30+ kids ages 7 to 15 who love to sing and have fun onstage
WHAT: Sixty-minute musical production of Junie B. Jones The Musical JR.
WHERE: Burton Leavitt Theatre, 779 Main Street, Willimantic
WHEN: Most rehearsals will be held Sundays from 5:30 pm to 7 pm beginning on Sept 8th. Some weeknight rehearsals. Show dates are Dec 6 & 7.
COST: $42 Registration Fee (includes show t-shirt)
All participants should plan to attend the first rehearsal on 9/8. Detailed information regarding the production will be provided and an informal audition process will be conducted for those interested in individual roles.
