Seeking:
MALE SINGERS AND SINGER/DANCERS: Any ethnicity. Should read late 20s to early 40s. 5’9” or taller. Attractive, masculine performers who can command a stage and tell a story – think leading man. Sensational tenors and bari-tenors with strong falsetto. Contemporary sounding voices with the ability to perform pop/rock. Strong harmonizing skills a must. Must be comfortable with guest interaction. Must move well/dance.
FEMALE SINGERS AND SINGER/DANCERS: Any ethnicity. Should read late 20s to early 40s. 5’4” or taller. Attractive, mature performers who can command a stage and tell a story. Sensational belters with strong mix/head. Contemporary sounding voices with the ability to perform pop/rock. Strong harmonizing skills a must. Must be comfortable with guest interaction. Must move well/dance.?
MALE AND FEMALE DANCERS: Any ethnicity. Strong, versatile dancers with lean, toned physiques and great technique who are comfortable performing a wide range of dance styles from ballet to commercial jazz to theatre. Ballroom/partnering, tapping, tumbling and aerial skills a plus.
Preparation:
Singers and Singer/Dancers: Prepare 16 bars of a pop/rock or contemporary musical theatre song showing range and personality. Have a contrasting selection ready in case you are asked. Bring sheet music in correct key; accompanist will be provided. Bring headshot and resume stapled together. You may be called back to move later the same day; bring dance clothes/shoes. ?
Dancers: A brief dance combination will be taught. Bring form-fitting dance attire that shows your silhouette. Women bring character heels and flats. All bring headshot and resume stapled together.
PLEASE NOTE: RWS is now able to contract performers 18 and over for Holland America Line as opposed to the previous age limit of 21 and over.
Casting will be ongoing for contracts starting in 2017 and early 2018. Worldwide itineraries. No cruise staff duties. ?
Pay Rate: $900-1,200/week for Singers. $600-$800/week for Dancers. Travel and lodging provided.
