NextStage is currently seeking 8 performers of all demographics between the ages of 14-19 to join the cast of Ghosts Stories for an Empty Theatre by James Kopp streaming July 29th -30th at 6:00pm MST! Performers from North and South America are encouraged to audition. The rehearsal schedule will be based on performer availability.
SHOW DESCRIPTION
Theatre programs struggled in the 2020-2021 school year. During their monthly zoom meeting, this theatre troupe chooses to tell their own stories instead. Come enjoy this wonderful and heartfelt script presented by a team of young artists!
CHARACTERS (all students will play various roles in the ghost stories as well)
IRENE: Female, Drama club leader, ring leader
SAM: Female, Stage manager and tech wizard
DEBBIE: Female, singer and leading lady and dancer
LUCY: Female, Too cool for school, swimmer turned actor
KATIE: Female, Smart and focused a bit of a bookworm
ZACK: Male, youngest, Freshman year looking to get into theater
BROOKS: Male, goofy and sweet, loves movies and seen them all
PHILLIP: Male, Goth actor that takes life to seriously.

2. Submit a headshot, resume, and 1-2 monologue best demonstrating your talent to casting@nextstageco.com to be considered. Submission will close on July 13th.
COMPENSATION
All NextStage performers are always paid. Virtual show split a portion of tickets sale and the actor tip jar after the show closes. Everyone is paid approximately one week after the close of the show.
