Moscow Ballet announces open auditions on Mon, Oct 12, 6:00pm for local student dancers, boys and girls, ages 7 to 16 years. Selected children will perform beside the professional company in the Great Russian Nutcracker on Dec 12 at the State Theatre Center for the Arts.The auditions will be at Moscow Ballet local host dance studio

Dance with Us” program, in its 23rd year, selects student dancers to perform ancillary roles of Party Children, Mice, Snowflakes, Angels, and more. Audition Director

Olga Aru received her degree in ballet and dance pedagogy from Kiev State Ballet College, Ukraine, in 2008. Since graduation, Olga has had a whirlwind of performance and teaching experiences; from dancing in ballet’s greatest classics to the most contemporary and to traveling around the world in those performances. She is a Laureate and award winner of the “Crystal Shoe - Dance Beyond Boards” competition and she performed at the “Mikkeli Ballet Festival” in Finland.
Since 2008, husband-and-wife duo Yu Hong and Dana Nederostek have owned and operated
Pennsylvania Classical Ballet
Academy. The couple aims to instill a sense of discipline in their students and help them move on to professional careers. The company employs the teaching principles of famous Russian dancer Agrippina Vaganova. In addition to ballet instruction, the school offers modern, contemporary and jazz classes to students age 4 through adult. The company recently opened a second location in Easton, PA.
Dance with Us offers student dancers personal exposure to Moscow Ballet’s highly skilled dancers and experience with a professional performance, an especially unique opportunity for students in smaller markets.Danville mother Amy Lewis says, “My daughter participated with Moscow Ballet's Nutcracker production. Audition Directors travel to 70+ North American cities in September and October auditioning and rehearsing local children ages 7 to 16 years. Dance with Us is underwritten solely by Moscow Ballet. Partnerships with local dance studios in performance cities are developed by co-producer
