GOODSPEED HOLDS AUDITIONS FOR LOCAL ADULT ACTORS FOR THE 2019 SEASON
Goodspeed Musicals is holding local Equity auditions for its 2019 season, on Sunday, October 28th from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in East Haddam, Conn. Goodspeed is seeking adult male and female actors.
All auditions are by appointment only. Appointments may be made starting immediately. Please call Company Management at (860) 873-8664, ext. 721, Monday through Friday, 9 am - 5 p.m.
The Goodspeed 2019 season will be The Music Man (3/12-6/20), Because of Winn Dixie (5/29-9/5), and Billy Elliot (8/13-11/24). The Terris 2019 season will be My Name is Ben (4/23 – 6/9) andPassing Through (7/2 – 8/18). Candidates must be available for four weeks of rehearsal and a 5 to 12-week performance run.
For The Music Man we are looking for male actors for the barbershop quartet.
Interested performers should bring a resume, photo and sheet music and be prepared to sing two short numbers: an up-tempo song and a ballad. Music must be legible and in the proper key (No lead sheets please). An accompanist will be provided.

Goodspeed produces three musicals each season at The Goodspeed in East Haddam, Conn., and additional productions at The Terris Theatre in Chester, Conn., which was opened in 1984 for the development of new musicals. Goodspeed also maintains The Scherer Library of Musical Theatre and The Max Showalter Center for Education in Musical Theatre.
